Improving the world
The year 2015 marks the first time that 50% of the world's population lives in urban areas. City living poses numerous challenges in terms of energy, water, transportation, communication, security and safety, social services, and much more. GBZ Technologies is investing in technologies that meet the increasing trend towards urbanization, such as BriefCam (safe city) and EnVerid (energy).

enVerid Systems revolutionizes HVAC energy savings for buildings of all types by dramatically reducing costly air replacement while maintaining excellent indoor air quality.
Able to produce double-digit energy savings, the enVerid HVAC Load Reduction (HLR™) “smart scrubber” modules efficiently remove molecular contaminants from indoor air. They can be added as retrofits to existing HVAC systems or can be designed into new projects.
By massively reducing the amount of outside air that is brought inside, easy-to-install enVerid HLRs deliver significant energy savings. They pay for themselves in a very short time.
The technology has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy as strategic. There are 40 billion square feet of air-conditioned commercial building floor space in the U.S. alone. The potential impact and value of enVerid’s technology is measured in many billions of dollars annually.
